Therefore, the regulatory requirements for the ammonia system are more stringent. To improve the safety of ammonia refrigeration systems, the company has introduced the following solutions.

1、Install emergency shut-off valve: Install an emergency shut-off valve on the ammonia system supply pipeline to ensure timely cut-off of the refrigeration ammonia liquid supply in case of a leakage accident in the system, avoiding the occurrence of a large amount of liquid ammonia leakage.

2、Spray: A spray system device is installed above the ammonia system storage tank. In case of a leakage accident in the ammonia system, the spray system will automatically open to neutralize the leaked ammonia and reduce the impact of the accident.

1、Exhaust and leakage alarm: Install emergency exhaust fans and gas concentration detectors in the computer room to start in a timely manner when a leakage accident occurs in the refrigeration system, reducing the impact of the accident

2、Pipeline valve replacement: For refrigeration system pipeline valves with long service life, limited lifespan, and poor condition, timely maintenance and replacement are necessary to reduce the risk of safety accidents.

1.png   Ammonia to Fluorine: According to the GB18218 Identification Standard for Major Hazard Sources of Hazardous Chemicals, filling a refrigeration system with more than 10 tons is considered a major hazard source. One solution to this issue is to replace the refrigerant with a safer and non-toxic refrigerant, Freon.


Reduce refrigerant charging amount

1.png   We provide customers with ammonia reduction retrofit solutions to address the issue of large refrigerant charge in ammonia refrigeration systems, which poses significant safety hazards while avoiding major hazards.

1、Ammonia electronic expansion valve liquid supply technology: high-precision electronic expansion valves are used instead of pump liquid supply methods, which can reduce ammonia filling by more than 80%

2、High pressure floating ball liquid supply technology: The condenser adopts floating ball liquid discharge, eliminating the need for a system storage tank; Reduce ammonia filling by over 90%

3、Local gravity liquid supply technology: relying on pressure difference to send high-pressure ammonia liquid to the cooling end, and then using a liquid level controller to control the liquid level of the evaporator, the ammonia filling amount of the system is reduced by more than 60%
